Reviewing your goals

Monday, April 14th, 2008

Keeping your goals in front of you helps keep you focused.  Some days are just off days and it is easy to get sidetracked.  Other times we can get sidetracked on projects that are good, but don’t help us reach our goals.

Whether we are trying to lose a few pounds, save some money or create fun memories with friends and families there are steps to take to make that happen.  Creating a system to evaluate your progress is helpful to you reaching your goals.  Perhaps you status yourself daily, weekly or monthly.  Be sure to review all your goals as you status them.  Some slip off the radar if you aren’t looking at them regularly.

Find Your Dream!

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

Dreams are great things to inspire us onward and upward.  While the word “dream” may be too lofty for the more pragmatic among us, we all need to have goals.  Allowing yourself time to evaluate what you want to achieve in all areas of your life is essential to living a fulfilled life.  In my Creating a Blueprint for A Successful Life™ workbook I outline 9 steps for achieving success in 12 areas of your life.  The process helps you focus on what you want to achieve so you can make decisions accordingly on a daily basis. All to often we are sidetracked with opportunities that seem good.  What happens is that by spending our energy on these other activites we don’t spend the time on our highest priorities.Take time to focus on your dream.  Do you want a better relationship with your spouse or children?  Do you want to improve your health?  See in your mind’s eye what you want to become.  Get a clear image of that dream.
