Monday, April 14th, 2008

Keeping your goals in front of you helps keep you focused.  Some days are just off days and it is easy to get sidetracked.  Other times we can get sidetracked on projects that are good, but don’t help us reach our goals.

Whether we are trying to lose a few pounds, save some money or create fun memories with friends and families there are steps to take to make that happen.  Creating a system to evaluate your progress is helpful to you reaching your goals.  Perhaps you status yourself daily, weekly or monthly.  Be sure to review all your goals as you status them.  Some slip off the radar if you aren’t looking at them regularly.

Keys to success

Joshua 1:6,8 provide the fundamentals to success.  We are to meditate on God’s word day and night and do what God’s word says.  The next part of the equation is surprising.  It says then I will make my way prosperous and have good success.  God in His infinite wisdom gave us a set of instructions that will cause us to be successful.  All we need to do is simply read and follow them.

Psalms 1:2-3 reiterates that point.  My delighting in God’s word, meditating in it day and night, whatever we do prospers.  Think about that.  The relationships with family and friends, co-workers as well as ourself will prosper.  Our health will prosper, as well as our spirit.  And of course, applying God’s principles to our finances will cause our finances to prosper as well.

What verse will you meditate on today?  If you would like to fill your heart and mind with over 430 power-packed Scriptures,  visit www.biblicalaffirmationsforasuccessfullife.com.
