Study the life of Joseph in Genesis 39. What a powerful success story. Sold into slavery, uses the gifts God has given him, Joseph finds favor with God. He does such a great job that in the three positions that the LORD blessed Joseph and all he did and his boss didn’t look into anything under his contol because his boss knew the LORD was with him and blessed his efforts. His resume was interesting: from working for the the captain of the guard, to the captain of the prisoners and finally to Pharaoh.
What his brothers did was intended to harm Joseph. But ultimately God led Joseph so that he could help not only Egypt, but the very brothers that had wished him harm.
